A Few Updates Regarding Some Completed Projects in Guatemala
Sorry for the hodge-podge of random updates…but for those of you who’d like to know the latest, here are a few excerpts from the emails of Vickie Weidenmann of Children International from today and yesterday:
Roof Project for Lesly of Guatemala: Project Link
“What great news … $553 has been raised for Lesly and her family. We’ve transferred the funds to our agency in Guatemala, and they’ll be coordinating the repairs to the home with Lesly and her family during the coming weeks.
I look forward to sharing updated on this special project as soon as I receive them! ”
Small Project #22 for Naidelin of Guatemala: Project Link
“Regarding Naidelin, we just heard from the agency via email that the construction materials have been purchased for the housing project, and the family (especially the children) are thrilled to know that they’ll soon have a new room in their home! Naidelin’s father and other family members will provide the labor for the project, and they have assured our staff that they will do everything they can to complete the project soon.
As soon as I have some additional details to share with you about Naidelin, I’ll pass them along to you immediately.”
Small Project #21 for Aura of Guatemala: Project Link
“I also wanted to let you know that the Guatemala City office recently reported that Aura continues to attend classes and told our staff that “her dream has come true!” She is enjoying classes, is learning a lot — and looks forward to her future as a teacher! Aura continues to be very thankful — as does her family — for the opportunities you have given her!”
Thanks to Vickie for the timely updates.
