Help Italian Earthquake Vicitms

9 April 2009 No Comment

Hi All,

Some of you already know that since 2006, I’ve been living in Italy teaching Digital Media at The American University of Rome. On early Monday morning (3:30AM) my husband and I awoke to our bedroom violently shaking. Luckily in Rome, we didn’t feel the full brunt of the earthquake that killed hundreds and left tens of thousands homeless in the nearby Abruzzo region.

We’re still feeling a few small aftershocks here and are wondering what we can do to help those who had the bad luck of living close to the epicenter. If you’d like to help, please consider making a donation through the Italian Red Cross.

Thanks and best wishes,
