We just received an email from Vickie Wiedenmann of Children International letting us know that the second half of beds purchased with Aura’s House donations have been delivered. She also attached photos of the children with their new beds and letters they wrote thanking Aura’s House donors for their support. The letter reads:

“Greetings, good friends! I hope everyone is doing well.

I just received photographs of some of the families who received new beds from the 2nd Aura’s House donation, and I’m happy to share those with you!

I’m happy to tell you that another 19 poor families in Guatemala received much-needed new beds, and thanks to a little bit of money left over, we also provided new pillows to some of those families. One of the children who received a bed is 9-year-old Andrea Paola Boror. Andrea suffers from a chronic kidney problem and is on dialysis. Our agency’s physician strongly suggested that she be one of the children to receive a new bed due to the fact that she needed a clean environment in which to sleep.

I’ve attached photographs and letters from five of the children who benefited from this wonderful project, as well as a photo of little Andrea. I hope you will enjoy seeing their smiling faces and reading their words of thanks.

Thank you again for your partnership with us, and for your continuing support of our efforts and the children in our program. We simply cannot thank you enough for your friendship and dedication to our program.
