Ana Gomez of Ecuador Receives Some Gifts

19 August 2009 No Comment

Ana and her family of Quito, Ecuador have received $2,100 so far to get started on their home business; an electrical workshop to fix appliances.   Ana’s father Luis is disabled and previously only her mother was able to work. Thanks to Aura’s House donors, Luis will soon be able to provide for the family too via his business and help increase the family’s monthly income that will cover food, rent, school fees, clothing, and supplies. Children International used Aura’s House donations raised so far to purchase many of the gifts even though Ana’s project is still in progress, so that Luis can get started.  Learn more about this worthy project

Children International has delivered many of the tools and a new desk and chair that Ana’s father, Luis, will need to make his small workshop a success.  The family has prepared the space for the workshop and have made some minor repairs to the walls of the area.  The new sign for the workshop will be delivered soon.

The family is very enthusiastic and grateful for everything that the generous donors to Aura’s House have done for them. They are encouraged to work together to help Luis with his business.  The family understands that this is a wonderful opportunity for them to improve their living conditions and increase their income.
