Meet Mats Andersson, Our Newest Volunteer -Ystad, Sweden

18 July 2011 3 Comments
Hi Everyone,

We just wanted to introduce our newest volunteer who is already helping set up projects and create updates for the website. His name is Mats Andersson, a Multimedia Professional from Ystad, Sweden.

Mats in Guatemala

Mats Writes:
It is my pleasure to help out, and I will do my best.

I was born in southern Sweden, in a family consisting of mechanical engineers and painters. Naturally I fell into the world of computer art, and after a few years of working in Sweden I applied to The School of Visual Arts in New York City. I was accepted, did really well and earned my bachelors degree in 3 years, graduating from an accelerated program in Computer Art.

I have now moved back to Sweden after spending 9 years in the US, working very hard. I now have my own company and freelance as a 3D Artist for a handful of clients in the US, but am about to join a very promising Visual Effects company in Sweden, and will take a lead position there.  I have a wonderful, beautiful dog named Walter and he is happy to be in southern Sweden by the beaches and woods. We both are.

Thank you for the opportunity to help out on Auras House, and to be a part of this.

Best Regards
Mats Andersson
Thanks Mats! It’s great to have you aboard and we can always use all the help we can get. Thank you also on behalf of the needy children. Welcome!

Best wishes,
Kristen and the Aura’s House Team
