We are happy to share photographs sent from the Children International office in Guatemala. Aura is in her classroom doing her student teaching with a group of third graders. The local office indicated that Aura continues to enjoy her studies and her work. She is looking forward to learning more and reaching her goal of becoming a teacher.

“Somalia is facing the worst humanitarian crises in the world” and sadly the situation is escalating. The UN has now officially declared a famine in parts of Southern Somalia. It is the first declared famine in nineteen years. Without strong global action this disaster could continue to spread.
