Farewell to Elise Cevetello, Our 2011 Summer Intern
Alas, the summer of 2011 has come to an end which sadly means that it is time to say goodbye to our Summer Intern, Elise Cevetello. Elise is studying at The American University of Rome and is originally from Boston, MA.
Elise was a great help to us this past summer. She did a lot of behind the scenes jobs such as adding keywords and descriptions to our many previous posts, pages, and articles to make this website much easier to find with the search engines. She also collected data so that we could finally tally up all our good deeds over the years when we recently celebrated our 7th birthday and helped coauthor our most recent newsletter that went out to our mailing list.
Elise wrote a number of posts and articles that were published on our website over the last few months and also did research on ways that Aura’s House can use social media more effectively in the future.
Thank you Aura’s House Family!
My summer internship has sadly come to a close. I am writing to say a final farewell and thanks to all of you. I would like to extend a special word of gratitude to founder Professor Palana, and partners Christina Sidoti and Inga Katelari for their guidance throughout this internship. I could not have asked for a better internship experience.
I appreciate the way in which you all welcomed me into your community by reading and commenting on the post messages I wanted to share with you. Furthermore, I am happy to have become involved with such a terrific organization, something that I wish to continue with although the internship has ended because I have become addicted to the feeling of fulfillment that helping these terrific children gives.
I have learned a great deal, met some fabulous people and above all, immensely enjoyed being your intern during this past summer season. I look forward to commenting alongside you on future posts, perhaps written by the next intern.
It has been an absolute pleasure.
Warm wishes and big hugs,
We at Aura’s House would like to thank Elise for all her efforts and hope that she will stay in touch and continue to be involved with the site as much or as little as she’d like.
Thank you Elise!
Kristen and the Aura’s House Team
