Marfel Receives Supplies To Start Her Family’s Food Income Generating Project

25 October 2011 No Comment

Marfel (8) of the Philippines has just received the supplies necessary to expand her family business.  Marfel’s mother sells balut and penoy from her home and makes a small profit each month (they are both duck egg Philipino specialties). Her father helps to sell these specialties when he gets home from work. Through your generous donations, Marfel’s parents now have additional seed capital for their Income Generating Project. It helped the family create their own business and for them to generate income that could help supplement simple family needs. Whatever gains or profits they may earn will be used to sustain the project as well as provide for the children’s needs in school.  View Marfel’s Income Generating Project.

600 Eggs
Plastic containers
Native baskets
10 bags of charcoal
Other materials for IGP

Marfel Venus along with her family were extremely delighted by the generous donation made possible by Aura’s House donors. When the family learned about this special gift they were overjoyed and became very emotional. It touched their hearts and everyone in the family uttered words of appreciation and thanks for the generosity of Marfel’s sponsor and the Aura’s House donors.

Here is quoted text from a letter from Marfel to her sponsor, Dorothée C.

“Dear Sponsor,
