Mentor Resource Library in Action
The USA Education Project – Mentor Resource Library was Aura’s House’s very first project to benefit children in the USA. We raised $507 to help create a Mentor Resource Library for UALR Children International in Little Rock, Arkansa. The Mentor Resource Library is in full swing and is sure to help develop strong relationships between the mentors and the students!
The staff in Little Rock has worked hard to develop very special after-school programs, leadership clubs and other activities for our sponsored children and youth. Thanks to your support, they were able to purchase books and games that mentors and students alike can use during their time together. The staff also encourages youth to pursue higher education and to excel in all areas of academics.
The following is a list of the books and games and other resource items that were purchased as a result of your fundraising efforts:
Barron’s ACT with CD-Rom
Book of Majors 2012
The Menor’s Guide: Facilitating Effective Learning Relationships
Scrabble Crossword Game
