This Holiday Season, we are raffling off a $100 Amazon Gift Card OR a $100 donation to the Charity, FirstGiving Project of your choice or a Special Gift for your sponsor child to one lucky Aura’s House donor. We are also now offering a $50 second prize (Amazon Gift Card or Donation) and an amazing third prize which is a hand-crafted sterling silver Aura’s House necklace made by artist, Jocelyn Burrows Vache.  The raffle prizes are being donated by Aura’s House Partners: Kristen Palana, Anastasia Yecke, Mike Epler, Christina Sidoti, Heather LaBonte Efthymiou, and Inga Katelari.

If you made a $10 donation or more to the The USA Dental Project, completed  Room Construction Project for Eber of Guatemala,  or to Mario’s Emergency Education Project between November 14, 2012 and January 7, 2013 you have been entered into the holiday raffle.  Each $10 donation got you one entry. (Example: A $30 donation got you three entries, etc.) *Please note that our Home Improvement Project for Paola of Mexico has it’s own raffle.  If you had donated to this project, your name is entered into it’s raffle. The winners will be drawn at the same time the winners of the Holiday Raffle are drawn.

The winners will be chosen at random on or before January 16, 2013 and notified by email and shortly after the gift cards or donations will be on their way. Whomever wins can choose which they would prefer. Each winner can only win one prize even if their name comes up more than once. So many of Aura’s House supporters are also raising funds for their own sponsored children on Firstgiving.com, so please spread the word to your fund raising friends. (Aura’s House partners and interns are not eligible to enter.)

The Holiday Season is all about doing a little something extra for someone. It is a time to expand our giving, encompassing the friendless and needy … near and far.
