Ethel Madrid (7) and her little brother live with their mom in a small home in Honduras. Her father has left the family so Ethel’s mom reached out with hopes that Children International could help Ethel to have a brighter future. The family has two beds, but one of them is in bad shape.  Ethel needs new clothes and shoes.  The family’s gas stove is damaged.  We aim to raise $250 to purchase the following items: a twin bed, clothes, shoes, a plastic table with four chairs, a gas stove, and food items . All projects on the Aura’s House site are 100% US tax deductible and 100% of donations go to the families being helped. Learn more.

“Ethel and her little brother live with their mom in a small home in Honduras. Her father has left the family so Ethel’s mom reached out with hopes that Children International could help Ethel to have a brighter future. Ethel likes to play soccer and she she likes art. Her favorite kind of art is drawing. She likes to send me pictures that she has made and I love them so much. We would really like to help Ethel’s family by providing them with much needed household items.”

This project is now complete, but you can help another needy child by donating to one of our current active projects. Thank you!
