Hi There,

Aura’s House turned a whopping TEN years old on June 30th. Coincidentally enough, it was also our site’s namesake, Aura Yesenia’s 21st birthday as well. And thanks to the support of Aura’s House donors over the years she has much to celebrate, as do thousands of children we’ve been able to help over the years through our small projects that make a world of difference to those living in poverty.

See? It's a sign.

All donations to any and all active projects on our site between April 29th and June 30th (our website’s 10th birthday!) of $10 or more got an entry into our raffle.  (Example: $10= one entry, $20=two entries, etc…)  Update: Raffle extended until Wednesday, July 2, 2014! (5PM EST).

First prize is a $100 Amazon gift card or donation to the charity or project of your choice.

Thanks everyone!

Sincerely,
Kristen Palana

Great idea to hold a raffle and post it on CI’s My Social Scene! Also, to ask if anyone would like to donate additional raffle prizes!

I think some sponsors may be unaware that this site, which for a while seldom showed updated totals, is now doing much better in that regard (is it weekly now? Seems like it!)

I would strongly suggest that you post that information on My Social Scene in case there are any sponsors who were discouraged by the previous situation, and who would come back once they know they will get quick updates on how things are going.

    Thanks Sabrina!

CI has been kind enough to give us bi-weekly spreadsheets instead of weekly… so the updates are at least a little more frequent now. Great idea about My Social Scene. Will try to get to it ASAP.

    Cheers!
