Gabriel Soloman (11)

Gabriel resides in a river community situated in the Otto-Awori local council development area in Lagos state, accessible via boat.   The community plays host to about 10,000 residents and mostly thrives from fishing and mat production. The community has only one primary school – St Mary’s Primary School, established in 1953. It serves the entire community  with only four teachers.   Gabriel’s father left his family and he resides with his mother and other siblings.  His mother survives daily cooking food and selling to make a living.  Thanks to our generous donors, Gabriel and three other lucky students can continue their educations for another year. We will fund raise for them again for the next school year each year until they graduate.
