Change for Change Campaign – Help Keep Yacn in University  

Homebaked: Grandma’s Kitchen situated in Monteverde Vecchio, Rome (Italy), is hosting a “Change for Change” campaign throughout November in which they are encouraging their customers to donate any spare change or to make an outright donation to help benefit Yacn’s Emergency Tuition Project in Tanzania. A donation jar can be found on their main counter next to their usual assortment of pies, muffins, and other goodies.

Complete: Tuition Project For Aura Hernandez (21) of Guatemala: $180 Raised! Thank You.

For the second year in a row, this project was completed before it even officially launched on the website!
Aura’s former sponsor, Kristen Palana donated the first $50. Then Aura’s House super-donor, Elvis Kibiti donated $65 which will then be matched by his employer, completing the project! THANK YOU!

Orphans Haripriya, Harika, and Pravalika Srinu Receive Gifts – India

Orphans Haripriya, Harika, and Pravalika Srinu have received medicine, food, clothing, household items, hygienic items, and six months of rent and electricity expenses with your generous donations. The girls received clothing and the oldest girl, Hari, has had her medical expenses covered. Food was, also, supplied for the girls until they each found a sponsor. Haripriya, Harika, and Pravalika all have sponsors now. Thank you for donating to this Emergency Project after the death of their mother. Your help has eased their pain and has taken care of their needs when they needed it most.

Meet Students of the English Tutoring Project – Dominican Republic

Meet some of the students who are benefiting from your donations to The Dominican Republic English Tutoring Project.

In many countries knowing English can greatly change an individual’s future by opening up new job opportunities and furthering their education. The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is a 12 month program, proposed for implementation in both Santiago and Santo Domingo within the Dominican Republic. The more funds we raise, the more students that will be supported for this program. Each student’s tuition and expenses costs approximately $200 USD.
