Orphans Haripriya, Harika, and Pravalika Srinu have received medicine, food, clothing, household items, hygienic items, and six months of rent and electricity expenses with your generous donations. The girls received clothing and the oldest girl, Hari, has had her medical expenses covered. Food was, also, supplied for the girls until they each found a sponsor. Haripriya, Harika, and Pravalika all have sponsors now. Thank you for donating to this Emergency Project after the death of their mother. Your help has eased their pain and has taken care of their needs when they needed it most.

Meet some of the students who are benefiting from your donations to The Dominican Republic English Tutoring Project.
In many countries knowing English can greatly change an individual’s future by opening up new job opportunities and furthering their education. The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is a 12 month program, proposed for implementation in both Santiago and Santo Domingo within the Dominican Republic. The more funds we raise, the more students that will be supported for this program. Each student’s tuition and expenses costs approximately $200 USD.

It’s our 10th birthday today here at Aura’s House. Thanks so much for all the support and encouragement over the years! We know that we are small, but we are proud of our little projects that make a big difference. Enter our Birthday Raffle (only two days left!) to help us celebrate and you could win $100 for yourself or favorite charity in the process.
Thanks to the small donations (usually just $10 or under…) of lots of people over the years, we’ve raised over $103,000 USD and completed 81 successful housing, health, education, and income generation projects for needy children and their families and communities in North, Central, and South America, Africa, and Asia. Thousands helped and counting.
The Tecpan Library in Guatemala has received gifts made possible by your generous donations in honor of Barbara Rogers. The new LED television and DVD player has been installed and it has proven to be a huge hit with the children. Also, the library has received sixty new books, various DVD’s, a new rug and window blinds. The library is now a very special place in the hearts and minds of our children. Aura’s House and Children International are deeply grateful to you, our donors, for your very kind and loving support that made these enhancements possible. See the original Tecpan Library Project.
