Our goal was to provide Aura Yesenia Solis Hernandez (15) of Guatemala tuition so she may have the opportunity to go to school in order to become a teacher. Children International reports that there is no one in Aura’s village qualified to teach beyond the 9th grade. They have identified a private school an hour away that Aura can attend to obtain a Teaching Certificate.

Our goal was to give Lesly Viviana Culajay Larios (7) and her family of Guatemala City, Guatemala the following gifts: a bunk bed for Lesly and her siblings, a bed for Lesly’s mother, a wardrobe closet, a small table top stove, and bed linens. We aimed to raise $500.

Our goal was to give Daniela Feliz Cuevas (7), and her family of The Dominican Republic the following gifts: a refrigerator, a chest of drawers, an atlas, and a dictionary. We raised $500.

Visit Maria’s Household Needs Project -The Dominican Republic

Our goal was to give Maria Arias Rodriguez (11), and her famiy of The Dominican Republic the following gifts: 1 bed, 2 fans, clothes, and food. Our goal was to raise $500.

We aimed to buy desperately needed beds for impoverished families in Guatemala. Our goal was to raise $4200. Each bed costs $105 and our goal was to provide beds (mattresses included) to the 40 neediest families identified by Children International’s Guatemala City Agency.

We built a desperately needed brick home for Bacilio Ramirez (10) and his family of eight who used to live in a two room house made of mud, wood planks, and plastic bags.

Visit Eswin’s Household Needs Project -Guatemala
November 6, 2007 – December 17, 2007 Our goal was to give Eswin Chavez (9), and his famiy of Guatemala the following gifts: 2 bunkbeds, 1 pressure cooker, 4 blankets, 10 corrugated tin sheets, 8 wooden sticks, and 2 pounds of nails for roof repairs. Our goal was to raise $550. |

August 31, 2007 – November 3, 2007 Our goal was to give Allison Dalgo (14), and her family of Ecuador the following badly needed gifts: a bed, mattress, dresser, gas stove with oven, blender, desk, and a table. Our goal was to raise $500. |

January 9, 2006 – July 7, 2007 We aimed to build a desperately needed classroom structure for 4,611 students in a cramped schoolhouse in Manila. Meet Christian (8) who attends the school and hoped for a new classroom. |

| Visit Judy’s Income Generating Project -The Philippines May 20, 2007 – May 23, 2007 Our goal was to give Judy Boqueo (11), and her famiy of the Philippines the following gifts: A motor boat for fishing to help provide the family with income, home construction supplies, food stuffs, and clothing. Our goal was to raise $500. |
