Ella Guantero (18)

House Project For Ella Guantero – the Philippines

Launched: May 6, 2011. Completed: July 29, 2011.

Ella (18) of the Philippines lives with her mother and sisters in very cramped quarters. Their house has two bedrooms but several nuclear families within its walls. We aimed to raise $736 for the construction of two rooms added to the family home.

India Tuition Project – Kolkata, India

Launched: November 27, 2009. Completed: May 3, 2011.

We aimed to raise $2450 to pay tuition fees for 100 children in Kolkata, India. That’s $24.50 per child. 100 Children will now be able to attend school!

Mercy (9)

Household Needs Project for Mercy Manunga of Zambia

Launched: March 1, 2011. Completed: April 16, 2011.

We raised a total $405. Your donations will go toward household needs items for Mercy (9) and her family of Lusaka, Zambia. This project is raised money for the following gifts: a bunk bed, mattresses, blankets, bed sheets, school shoes, clothes, transport, and food.

Eloina (7)

Income Generating Project for Eloina de Jesus Salcedo of Guatemala

Launched November 3, 2010. Completed: February 18, 2011.

Our goal was to raise $750. Your donations went toward a tortilla making business for Eloina (7) and her family of Guatemala. This project raised money for the following gifts: tortilla making equipment, food supplies, a tablecloth, a basket, a bench for customers, a large wardrobe, and bedsheets.

Emergency Project for Ana Gomez of Ecuador
Launched November 23, 2010. Completed: February 5, 2011.Our goal was to raise $500. Ana Belen Lema Gomez of Ecuador (13) lost her father Luis Lema unexpectedly in late July when he suffered a heart attack. The family relied on his business (income generating project funded in 2010 by Aura’s House donors) as a source of income and is devastated both emotionally and financially without him.

Household Needs Project for Maria Chancay of Ecuador

Launched August 3, 2010. Completed: January 7, 2010.

Our goal was to raise $370. Your donations will go toward a household needs project for Maria (8) of Ecuador. This project raised money for the following gifts: a bed, mattress, chest of drawers, table, chairs, and a blender.

Aura (17)

Tuition Project for Aura’s Hernandez of Guatemala

Launched November 3, 2008. Completed: November 3, 2010.

Our goal was to raise $1200 for Aura’s first year of school (2009), $657 for Aura’s second year of school (2010), and to raise $974 for her third and final year of school (2011).

John (6)

Hog Raising Project for John Fernandez of the Philippines
Launched May 8, 2010. Completed: September 24, 2010.Our goal was to raise $700. Your donations will go toward creating a income generating project for John (6) and his family of the Philippines. This project will raise money for the following gifts: three hogs, feed sacks, and contingencies. In addition, your donations will go toward supplying John with clothing, footwear, and groceries.

Diego

Visit the Income Emergency Project for Diego – Colombia

June 24, 2009. Completed: July 30, 2010.

Diego needed help right away to help with medical issues and has limited income as his parents are deceased. We hope to bring peace and comfort to Diego and his caretaker, his aunt. Our goal was to give Diego Armando of Colombia the following gifts: food supplements, school tuition and supplies, a bed, mattress, bedding, a refrigerator, capital, and debt relief.

Jessabel (11)

Visit the Income Generating Household Needs Project for Jessabel Bajada -The Philippines

Launched January 9, 2010. Completed April 30, 2010.

Our goal was to raise $350. Your donations will go toward improving the living conditions of Jessabel (11) and her family of the Philippines. This project raised money for the following gifts: home repair materials, grocery items, a plastic clothes drawer, a kerosene stove, kitchenware, school shoes, rubber shoes, an electric fan, rice, meal expenses, and transportation expenses.
