Hello there Aura’s House Friends,
As you may or may not know, in my other life I am also an animator, and every now and then I like to make something to help draw attention to the issues I care about most. After the Children International staff in Honduras completed the set up of the Chicken Income Generation Project, they had a balance of about $60. Zoila and her sister received clothing, a basket of food, and hygiene items.

We recently received word from Children International regarding the complete Chicken Income Generation Project for Zoila of Honduras. Vickie Wiedenmann writes:
As you can see in the photos attached, Zoila and her family are now the proud owners of 30 chickens! The Children International office in Honduras has just sent photos of Zoila and the finished chicken house, as well as, the new feeders and waterers for the chickens.
The local CI office has ordered the chickens, and expect them to be delivered within the next week or so. The family will also be receiving a good supply of feed. Stay tuned for photos of the arrival of the new chicks.

We recently received an update, report, and new photos from Children International’s field office in Guatemala. View Nyslin’s original income genration project funded by Aura’s House donors.
The report reads:
We had the joy of visiting Nyslin at her house to do a follow-up on the donation she received to purchase chicks. Nyslin’s family received 100 farm chicks, Mrs. Vicenta, Nyslin’s mother, explained to the field officer and the staff accompanying the visit that 20 chicks died, due to different reasons, since the chicks …
