Parveen (6) lives in a one room home with a mud floor, and plastic sheeting walls with her parents and her seven siblings. Her father is too ill to work so the family lives off of Parveen’s mothers income which totals $120 per month.
At the moment, Parveen through no fault of her own, lost her previous sponsor through Children International and is now even more vulnerable than when we first started planning this project.
All projects on the Aura’s House site are 100% US tax deductible and 100% of donations go to our projects and the families or communities they serve.
Orphans Haripriya, Harika, and Pravalika Srinu have received medicine, food, clothing, household items, hygienic items, and six months of rent and electricity expenses with your generous donations. The girls received clothing and the oldest girl, Hari, has had her medical expenses covered. Food was, also, supplied for the girls until they each found a sponsor. Haripriya, Harika, and Pravalika all have sponsors now. Thank you for donating to this Emergency Project after the death of their mother. Your help has eased their pain and has taken care of their needs when they needed it most.

The fine concrete work done on Habiba’s home is now complete thanks to the generous support of Aura’s House contributors. The entire house including the veranda was paved in concrete and now the family no longer has to worry about the monsoon season and the resulting muddy floors. They will not only stay dry and clean, but their health will improve without the damp, cold ground. See the original Home Construction Project.
