Featured Person: Anastasia Yecke

Featured Person,  Anastasia Yecke became involved with Aura’s House back in 2004 when she chanced upon a posting in the Volunteer section of Craigslist asking for donations to help build a home for a deserving family in Guatemala.
Things were going well at her job in Miami, Florida and she was looking for opportunities to give back, so she clicked on the link which took her to Aura’s House. Update: Aura’s Progress at University in Guatemala

Aura continues to work during the week as a primary school teacher and goes to school every Saturday. She is making a huge effort to attend classes and is able to help her family with some of their basic expenses with the salary she earns as a school teacher. See Aura’s latest Tuition Project.
