Thanks to your wonderful donations and support, Daniela and her family now have the supplies to open their own grocery store. Your donations, also, went to the purchase of school supplies and household needs items. Children International’s local office in the Philippines writes:

Daniela lives with her parents and three siblings in one multi-use room in the poorest areas of Manila, the Philippines. Their home has a corrugated metal roof and they use water from a neighbor’s faucet. The family’s income has recently dropped to a mere $70 per month. Children International has informed Aura’s House that the family has the capability to generate income through sewing and a small store.

In addition to the income generation, Daniela needs school clothing and supplies for the upcoming school semester. Aura’s House plans to enable Daniela’s family to generate income and to provide Daniela with the school supplies that she needs. We aim to raise $560 for a sewing machine, groceries, items for the small store, uniform, shoes, socks, school supplies and text books.

Aura’s House is very happy to share several photos of Jenelyn Bajada that were taken when she received gifts as a result of your donations. The family was very happy when they learned of the good things coming their way. They are “grateful that there are people with good hearts so willing to help them get through and survive their difficult life.”

Ella now has two new rooms added to her family’s home. The rooms are completely finished with their respective door and lock. The family is very happy and thankful for the house additions because Ella Marie’s wish to have a room of her own is now realized through the support of her sponsor. Now, the children can enjoy privacy and comfort in their bedrooms.
