Aura’s House is happy to share several photographs that were recently taken of Christopher and Judy Mwansa when they received gifts funded with your donations.
In addition to having their school fees financed and supplies purchased, the children received new school clothing, shoes, and a large selection of food items for their family’s use. They were very grateful for the gifts you provided for them. Judy and Christopher’s aunt, Mary, wrote a letter of thanks to their sponsor that you can enjoy reading in the gallery below.
Aura’s House sends much gratitude for making such a difference in the lives of these children.

Manikandan is an amazing Aura’s House supporter who believes strongly in the value of education. Through Children International, he sponsors five children who live in India, the Philippines and Latin America. Aura’s House is specifically interested in why education means so much to Manikandan and he was kind enough to write with his thoughts.

Aura is doing very well as a student teacher in Guatemala. Children International has recently sent more photos of Aura looking very professional as she prepares to teach her class. The Children International staff in Guatemala reports that Aura is doing very well and is making great efforts to be the very best teacher she can be. Aura deeply appreciates everything that Aura’s House volunteers and donors have done for her. She looks forward to her bright future.

Christopher (8) and his sister, Judy, (7) are orphans from Zambia and they are being raised by their aunt who has her own family. They live in extreme poverty and their aunt is unable to send Christopher and Judy to school. The fees for each child are $36 per semester with three semesters per school year totaling $108 per child. The …

We are happy to share photographs sent from the Children International office in Guatemala. Aura is in her classroom doing her student teaching with a group of third graders. The local office indicated that Aura continues to enjoy her studies and her work. She is looking forward to learning more and reaching her goal of becoming a teacher.
